Paul McCartney

“Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you
Tomorrow I’ll miss you
Remember I’ll always be true
And then while I’m away
I’ll write home every day
And I’ll send all my loving to you

I’ll pretend that I’m kissing
The lips I am missing
And hope that my dreams will come true
And then while I’m away
I’ll write home every day
And I’ll send all my loving to you”

It’s impossible to describe how it feels. How when I’m away from him everything around me seems gray and lifeless, then when I step into his presence all of life abounds once more. It becomes splendid, and meaningful. And when he speaks, his voice is more than just vocal intonations. It’s a refrain. And when he touches me I know why I was born; and when he laughs I am happier than when I laugh myself; and when we part it is the November of my heart.
